On March 23, 2003 at the First Baptist Church parking lot, someone broke into a pickup and stole a stereo system. We have information that this was a heavyset Hispanic male. On April 3, 2003 there was a Hispanic male that broke into a pickup at the high school, however he was approached by an individual and the subject fled on foot through the high school and out the front door. The description of this individual was a bald heavyset Hispanic male with a gotee and approx. 5'7 to 5'9 in height. Later that same day a vehicle in the Gruver high school parking lot was burglarized. I also received a call on April 21, 2003 that there was two churches that had vehicles broke into in Stinnett while service was being conducted.

I believe that most if not all of these vehicles were left unlocked. So remember to lock your vehicle and your house to deter criminals away from your property.
